Born and raised in Richmond, VA, studied and practiced in North Carolina, currently residing and working in the metro-Atlanta area. Wayne Viar works is an in-demand drummer and percussionist performing and recording in town and touring with several national and international acts. His work requires a wide range of versatility including pop, jazz, funk, rock, world, rudimental drumming, orchestral percussion, hand drumming, electronic music, and programming. “The goal is to always provide the right musical elements that are supportive, appropriate, tasteful, and serve the song or situation first and foremost".
